I'm speechless with rage...

...and if Sinclair gets their way, we'll all be speechless. Seems they're planning on broadcasting a two-hour Republican commercial...couched as a film.

NEW YORK (CNN/Money) - Sinclair Broadcast Group, owner of the largest chain of television stations in the nation, plans to air a documentary that accuses Sen. John Kerry of betraying American prisoners during the Vietnam War, a newspaper reported Monday.

The reported plan prompted the Democratic National Committee to file a complaint against Sinclair with the Federal Election Commission.

Sinclair has ordered all 62 of its stations to air "Stolen Honor: Wounds That Never Heal" without commercials in prime-time next week, the Washington Post reported, just two weeks before the Nov. 2 election.

The stations themselves should sue Sinclair for infringement on their right to sell advertising and make a profit! The DNC is suing them for campaign violations. Which won't necessarily keep them from doing it, as they can just choose to be fined a pittance later.

On the flip side, Going Upriver had almost NO marketing budget, and certainly no corporate sponsor to force it onto the airwaves. In more positive news, Fahrenheit 9/11 just came out on DVD.
